The Wizard's Bane Wow! Just another great book by Michael J. Allen. The first book, "Murder in Wizard's Woods," was great, but "The Wizard's Bane" for me, mind-blowing. This book has what any wizard, dragon, and a magic loving reader would want. It answers questions that the first book ended in. The plot is well written and easy to follow. I had no problem following along. I feel it is a good book for adults as well as young adults. It has old characters as well as new ones that you can't help but fall in love with. The book has new exciting twists and turns. The book keeps you on your toes and wanting more. As the story unfolds, The more I got excited to read on, wanting to know where Jedediah was. What was going to happen to Jordan, Jedediah's foster daughter? I laughed out loud at cherry coke being intoxicating to Drake. The Wizard's Bane stirred all kinds of emotions in me. I know it's a good book when I can feel what the character mi...

I just read a great book! Murder in Wizard's Wood Murder in Wizard's Wood is book one in the Bittergate series If you want to get lost in the south, be a farmer and yet have a magical mystery to you. I would recommend this book. This book is a wonderful mix of the real-life struggles of a 400-year-old wizard living the dream that most only hope to do. He has a heart in the right place, trying to be a loving father, mentor, and protector. And just like real life, you have the drama of trying to keep the peace and keep everyone happy. Everything goes crazy. This author really captured the everyday struggles of life. How life can spin out of control very quickly. Jedediah is the wizard that is doing all of this when murders start happening on the property that he has sworn to protect. Will he keep the magical world safe and clear his good name? The plot was well written and it keeps your attention. There are fey, elves, a dragonling, and other mystical creatures. You have young ...
